How Much Do Accounting Services Cost in Dubai?
Almost nobody in this market publishes a figure, which is why the question is so hard to answer and so uncomfortable to ask. Here is how accounting services are actually priced in Dubai, what moves the number up or down, and where our own contracts start. If you only want our figures, they are at the bottom of the page.
What You Are Actually Paying For
An accounting fee is not one service. It is several, and firms bundle them differently, which is the main reason two quotes for the same company can look nothing alike. Before comparing prices, check what each one includes.
| Component | Usually included? | Why it matters |
| Bookkeeping and record keeping | Always | The base of the fee. Priced on how many transactions you generate. |
| Bank reconciliation | Usually | Without it, your records and your bank do not agree at year end. |
| Financial statements | Sometimes | Often billed as an annual extra. Ask before you sign. |
| VAT return filing | Sometimes | Commonly charged per return, four times a year. |
| Corporate Tax filing | Sometimes | Frequently excluded entirely and billed at year end. |
| FTA representation | Rarely | Only a registered tax agent can do it. Most firms refer it out. |
| Access to your own records | Rarely | Many firms report quarterly and give you nothing in between. |
What Moves the Price
- Transaction volume. The single biggest factor. A company issuing thirty invoices a month costs more to keep than one issuing five.
- Number of bank accounts. Every account is another reconciliation.
- VAT registration. A registered company has quarterly returns and stricter invoice requirements.
- Multi currency trading. Imports, exports and foreign currency accounts add work to every period.
- The state of your existing records. A clean handover is routine. A backlog is a separate project.
- Reporting frequency. Monthly reporting costs more than quarterly, and is worth it for some businesses and not others.
Why the Cheapest Quote Is Rarely the Cheapest Outcome
A low monthly fee usually means one of three things: filing is excluded and will be billed later, one junior person is handling the whole account, or the firm is not a registered tax agent and will refer you elsewhere the first time the authority asks a question. None of those are visible in the quote. All of them appear in the invoice afterwards.
What We Charge
We work on an annual contract with a fixed monthly fee, set once we see your transaction volume. It does not change during the contract year.
Contracts start at AED 1,100 per month. A typical active trading or service company sits in the AED 2,000 to 2,500 range. High volume and multi entity clients go up from there.
Every contract, at every level, includes bookkeeping, financial statements, quarterly Corporate Tax and VAT filing, representation before the FTA as your registered tax agent, live access to your records, a dedicated WhatsApp group, and three specialists assigned to your account. Nothing in that list is an add on.

Compared With Hiring
An accountant in the UAE cannot be employed below the salary an accounting visa requires, and the salary is only part of the cost. Once the visa, the end of service gratuity and the annual flight tickets are added, most owners find the comparison is not close. We have set it out line by line on the cost comparison page.
